Wexford Kids Computing and Coding Camps

Kids Computing and Coding Camps are different in many ways from any other camp. We run multi activity around the areas of computing, science and incorporate outdoor activities in the daily activities. Our camps are run in Enniscorthy & Wexford town for children aged between 7 and 13 years. Each year we update our programmes and activities to ensure your child can participate in new, thrilling and exciting activities as well as some of the old firm favourites. Not only do we offer great value for money, we offer your child a week of action, fun and adventure in a safe, secure and healthy environment.

We provide Multi Activity Camps, these programmes have been designed by our expert team with your children in mind at all times. Our programmes have been fine-tuned through years of experience and feedback from parents and campers. This results in challenging camps that appeal greatly to children aged 7-13 years and make them want to return year after year!

What will we cover?

Coding with Scratch. HTML & CSS. Introduction to Python. Science & Maths with sports. Learning through fun Games. Internet Safety, Online Ethics, How Computers Work, Computer Science Unplugged. Much More! (Aged: 7 – 17) Groups are divided into age and skill appropriate groups, each group will have their own lead mentor.

Within the camps we also explore non-computing areas and investigate questions that kids like to know the answers to, like:

  • How is a rainbow formed?
  • When does water turn to ice?
  • How did Earth and other planets form?
  • How does Earth’s interior work, and how does it affect the surface?
  • 10 surprises about our solar system
  • How does electricity work?
  • Is Pluto a planet?
  • What is electricity?
  • How can fish breathe underwater?
  • And much more!

What do the kids need to bring?

A Laptop with Scratch 2.0 Offline installed, some snacks and a smile!
